Introductory courses emphasizing managing risk by avoiding exposure to there dangers in avalanche terrain and limited to basic concepts. Each student will cover - Rescue Principals - Equipment and Techniques - Companion Rescue Processes - Basic Patient Care - Recognizing Additional Resources Format: 8 hours: Minimum 5 hours field time with demonstration & practice.
